Major ResponsibilitiesImplementation of adequate measures to reach Company goals in coordination with Global Category Manager and plant leads.New project contracting in the Region including local prices, payment terms, contract negotiations, tryouts material tracking, etc.Daily business including sourcing, bid comparisons, negotiations, system processes, credit, quality and logistics escalations support.Release of commitments and administration in SAP for Purchase Orders, Delivery programs, etc.Support to Category Manager and Global Strategic Purchasing for annual price negotiations and discounts.Control and support to obtain rebates agreements and report quarterly the rebates evolution.Propose potential synergies between plants.Follow and maintain a supplier panel, commodity strategy in coordination with Category Manager and Global Procurement.Maintain a regional overview of the business (statistics, suppliers, revenues, market trend, etc.).Responsible for savings programs and tracking.Take initiatives to improve productivity.During development phase to provide market prices and price evolution.Knowledge and EducationCommercial and/or technical background. Desirable: Engineer, ADE, or economist specializing in materials management/purchasing with strong technical understanding.ExperienceExperience in specialist areas of Plastic Injection in the automotive industry: Tools, materials, components, processes, etc. At least 3 years in a similar position within the automotive industry in a dynamic international company.Skills and CompetenciesNegotiating skills and proven ability to complete negotiations with national and international partners. Resins & Paints market knowledge in Europe. English & Spanish language mandatory.
