ph3Your Role /h3pTransportation is central to our cost structure, customer experience, and sustainability goals. You’ll own the TMS platform lifecycle—enhancing it into a multi-modal, API-enabled, event-driven architecture fully embedded in our digital fulfillment stack. Your work will directly impact how we move products globally. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine and drive the TMS technical roadmap to support scalability, performance, and long-term platform evolution. /liliAlign with Enterprise Architecture on system design, integration patterns, and data models. /liliLead platform integration with S/4HANA, Project44, Data Lake, and other digital solutions. /liliManage the technical backlog, from configuration to performance tuning and vendor roadmap alignment. /liliCoordinate with offshore/onshore delivery teams to ensure robust execution across releases. /liliOwn platform artifacts: architecture items, guardrails, APIs, and release documentation. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3h3Skills /h3ulli6+ years of total experience in supply chain technology, product/platform ownership, or enterprise systems. /lili3+ years in technical product management or platform lifecycle roles (e.g., TPM, Solution Owner, Platform Architect). /liliExperience in at least one Transportation Management System (TMS) such as BlueYonder, SAP TM, or Oracle Transportation Cloud. /liliProven track record in managing API integrations, event-driven workflows, and enterprise system connectivity (ERP, visibility platforms, etc.). /liliFamiliarity with multi-modal transportation (FTL, LTL, ocean, parcel), ideally in a distribution or logistics-intensive industry (chemical, pharma, FMCG, automotive). /liliAPI lifecycle management and integration architecture. /liliEvent-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, SAP Event Mesh, Mulesoft, or equivalent). /liliCloud platforms (especially AWS, SAP BTP). /liliERP integration with S/4HANA, and supply chain visibility platforms (e.g., Project44, FourKites). /liliComfort working with technical teams, solution architects, and data engineers. /liliFluent in English (required). /liliSpanish or Portuguese (preferred but not mandatory). /liliStrong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and general delivery teams. /li /ulh3Experience /h3ulliExperience in technical/platform product management, preferably in TMS (BlueYonder, SAP TM, Oracle). /liliStrong understanding of multi-modal transport operations and their digital enablement. /liliTechnical fluency in:ulliAPI enablement, event-driven architectures. /liliIntegration tools such as Kafka, SAP BTP, AWS (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway). /liliExposure to cloud-native architectures and platforms like Project44, FourKites, or similar. /li /ul /liliAbility to lead across architecture, infrastructure, vendors, and business stakeholders. /liliPassion for the evolving logistics tech landscape—from 4PL and digital freight to real-time orchestration. /liliMindset focused on building durable, extensible platforms that support global scale. /li /ulh3Education /h3ulliMaster's degree or postgraduate studies in Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise IT. /liliRecognized programs from institutions such as IE Business School, ESADE, UPC Barcelona, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, NOVA Lisbon. /li /ulh3Our Offer /h3ulliExciting professional tasks and challenges in a diverse and secure working environment with the world market leader in the chemical distribution industry and DAX listed company. /liliOur personalized onboarding program guarantees that you will be off to a quick start. /liliDynamic multicultural work environment. /liliMobile working option: your professional and private life can be combined even better. /liliA competitive remuneration package awaits you. /li /ulpBrenntag TA Team /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
