We develop, manufacture, and deliver products and solutions that safeguard payment processes, identities, connectivity, and data.At G+D Mobile Security, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a Technical Product Manager IOT Devices to join our team in Barcelona.As a Technical Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of an IoT device while driving cross-product initiatives. This role blends deep technical expertise with a strong product vision, ensuring market, technology, and regulatory requirements are transformed into commercially successful and technically robust solutions.Key responsibilitiesDefine and manage product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for IoT devicesTranslate market and customer needs into technical specifications and featuresPrioritize development tasks in alignment with Engineering and ManagementCoordinate new developments with Lead Engineer and System Integration EngineerSupport cross-product topics such as sensor technology and platform strategyCreate and maintain product requirement documents (PRD, specifications)Evaluate technical concepts, design variants, and supplier solutionsOversee certification and testing activities (e.g., ATEX, EMC)Monitor product performance, field feedback, and quality metricsDrive product improvements and redesigns based on data and insightsAct as a key interface to Sales, Marketing, and Operations for market readinessYour qualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar5+ years in technical product management, engineering, or IoT/industrial product developmentStrong understanding of electronics, sensors, firmware, and mechanicsExperience with product roadmaps, requirements management, and development processesKnowledge of standards, certifications, and quality management (ATEX, CE, EMC) is a plusProven experience with external development partners and suppliersExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skillsFluent in German and English (written and spoken)Your ProfileTechnically skilled with a strong business mindsetStructured, decisive, and able to prioritize effectivelyStrong communicator across multiple technical disciplinesSelf-driven, proactive, and solution-orientedA collaborative team player with a focus on executionWhat’s great about working with usCulture and diversity: Join a people-oriented environment with diverse nationalities, strong team spirit, and flat hierarchies where everyone speaks to everyone.
