To strengthen our team we are recruiting : Tech Service - Construction Excellent opportunity for an entrepreneur that seeks to develop its skills in the leading company in the sector. Reporting directly to the European Tech Service Manager, it will develop its activity throughout the Iberian Peninsula, offering technical support to the entire Commercial and Installers team. RESPONSIBILITIES : Provide technical support and recommendations on inquiries from the sales field Travel to installation sites to investigate installation issues, conduct failure analysis, and create technical reports to record relevant information Manage assigned QA-22’s (Field issue investigations) to investigate issues and drive improvement Work with R&D groups from the US and Europe to assist in failure analysis, improvements on existing products, and to conduct field trial/scale-up procedures on new or revised products. Work in close relation with the European Technical Service Manager to ensure a consistent direction is followed and a shared, European/Global vision is achieved. Provide on-site training to field personnel on new products, new techniques, etc. as required Facilitate transfer of technical information to their country’s sales force through use of Technical Bulletins, Tech Lines, Webinars, Phase Training sessions, etc. Localize/Translate technical documentation from English to relevant language for their country Assist with product and technical training for new field personnel. WHAT IS REQUIRED? Native or bilingual Spanish level and fluent English level. Strong communication ability, both written and orally is required for providing technical support to the field. Critical Thinking. Candidate must be able to ask the right questions, understand issues, and determine its causes in order to drive improvement. Candidate must be able to adapt to a changing work environment. Some days are in the field, others are in the office or home working. Good interpersonal skills. The candidate will work with diverse teams that require good adaptability and flexibility. Technical Knowledge & Capacity for Learning. Candidate does not need to be well-versed in resinous flooring but a strong technical background shows ability to learn the necessary information. At least two years of experience providing technical support in chemical materials will be valued. Education in chemistry, materials engineering, technical engineering, or equivalent Availability to travel, up to 3-4 days per week. Driver's license Experience in project management.
