Overview As we continue to scale our digital platforms and data capabilities, we are looking for a Technical Lead AI & IT Platform to own and shape our technology vision. You will play a critical role in building scalable, reliable, and intelligent platforms that support decision‑making, operations, and innovation across a global organization. As Technical Lead AI & IT Platform, you will take end-to-end ownership of the technical architecture of AS1's digital products. You will design, build, and evolve full‑stack applications while defining how AI models, data pipelines, and intelligent agents are integrated into the platform. Own the full technical architecture of AS1's digital platforms, from frontend to backend and infrastructure. Responsibilities Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems built for long-term growth. Design and develop full-stack applications using modern frameworks and best practices. Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and frontend applications with a focus on reliability and performance. Design and manage data pipelines that power AI-driven features and insights. Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) supporting APIs, databases, and AI workloads. Stay up to date with emerging technologies in AI, full stack development, and modern system architectures. Strong experience in full stack development across frontend and backend systems. Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with cloud architectures such as AWS and/or Azure. Qualifications & Mindset Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Understanding of the football industry ecosystem and its global dynamics is a plus, but not required. Ability to take technical ownership of projects from concept to production. 5–7 years of professional experience in senior engineering roles, owning complex systems and platforms in production environments. International exposure and experience working in global or distributed teams is highly valued. Reports directly to the IT Director.
