Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead accounting support for multiple entities from the Barcelona team, ensuring accurate records and timely month-end closing. You will work with cross-functional partners on forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support financial decisions. You will manage journals, depreciation, accruals, reconciliations, and audits, strengthening financial controls. This is an international, education-focused group offering meaningful scope to influence reporting, compliance, and operational finance.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Liaise with the business to ensure completeness in the purchase ledger
• Support forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting
• Assist during month-end closure including AR reconciliation and deferred revenue
• Pu0026L analysis across OPEX, Services, Residences and Homestay
• Monthly reporting and posting of journals (prepayments, depreciation)
• Maintain Fixed Asset register and depreciation postings
• Manage utility contracts, accruals, and invoices
• Process residence costs accruals and related postings
• Credit card accruals posting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide support during audits and fiduciary/external accounting interactions
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts Payable/Accounting and Pu0026L analysis
• Auditing experience
• Experience in a large corporation in an accounting role
• Experience with month-end processes
