The company collaborates with the world’s leading clinicians and researchers to address unmet healthcare needs, working to improve patient outcomes and enhance lives.Summary:Manage the Talent Acquisition Manufacturing team for our Moncado/Valencia Spain plant and provide expertise and guidance on global talent acquisition strategies.How You'll Make an Impact:Plan strategic talent acquisition projects and recruiting activities with accountability for successful completion within scope of significant project deliverables including analyzing relevant metrics, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions while providing direction and guidance; may anticipate organization needs by ensuring an ongoing talent pool.Manage and/or lead a small team within talent acquisition. Develop team members to increase business acumen and functional skills while achieving higher levels of performance.Collaborate with HRBPs and hiring managers on search strategies and solutions while developing slates of candidates and ensuring finalization and completion of the hiring process.Responsible for managing and driving Government and Campus relationships in view of grants negotiation, recruitment and branding tie-ups, changes in employment legislations, etc. pertaining to talent acquisition.Establish key relationships with internal and external stakeholders including assigned functional area.Maximize the use of recruiting tools and technologies to streamline activities and remain at the forefront of talent acquisition. Research and recommend the use of other vendors and continuous improvement solutions that may improve the effectiveness of recruiting and/or sourcing activities.Responsible for the talent acquisition compliance processes, representing this functional area during internal and external audits as a subject matter expert.Drive employer value and branding propositions initiatives, and participate in talent acquisition and cross-functional related projects.Interface with external experts to understand the market and emerging tools, trends, and opportunities in order to recommend talent acquisition solutions.Other incidental duties.What you will need (Required Qualifications):Bachelor's Degree in a related field.8 years of related talent acquisition experience.Fluent in Spanish and English.What else we look for (Preferred Qualifications):Experience working in a manufacturing company.Additional Skills:Demonstrated experience directly sourcing external passive talent.Demonstrated personal accountability and integrity.Ability to meet rapidly changing business requirements.Ability to command the attention and respect of leadership; ability to create and manage strategic alliances while driving the process.Previous experience in both agency and corporate recruiting.Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel; ATS systems (e.g., Taleo) and advanced sourcing skills and systems (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Zoominfo).Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with the ability to drive achievement of objectives.Extensive understanding of talent acquisition procedures while defining team operating standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline.Extensive knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and requirements relevant to talent acquisition.Demonstrated skill set to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations.Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of talent acquisition to the business.Excellent leadership and negotiating skills and ability to influence and implement change.Strict attention to detail.Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment.Ability to develop peer, cross-functional, and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.What is it like to work at Edwards Lifesciences in Spain?As a global leader in patient-focused medical innovations, we offer rewarding opportunities and exciting challenges in a truly international, dynamic, and friendly work environment.We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where all employees can grow, personally and professionally.
