Supervising Associate - GDS RM and BCP - EY GDS Spain - HybridLocation: MalagaOther locations: Primary Location OnlyDate: Jan 14, 2026Requisition ID: Supervising Associate Risk Management and BCPThis role is for a local ECRM (Ethics, Compliance and Risk Management) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) SPOC who will be a shared resource for GDS RM and BCP in Spain. This role would report into the Global Delivery Services (GDS) BCP and RM leads for the BCP and RM areas respectively.The opportunityYou will be part of EY GDS Global Risk Management and BCP Team and will support to ensure compliance to internal policy requirements and state of readiness.Your key responsibilitiesThe job profile for RM broadly entails helping the GDS RM lead plan, implement and monitor systems and compliance processes for the GDS business in Spain and extend support with respect to co-ordination on legal matters.Assist in monitoring compliance to various EY policy matters and in consultation with the GDS RM lead, advice function heads on RM mattersExecute and help manage Business Relationship specific compliances as per EY’s policiesManage various initiatives around creating RM awareness in GDS SpainHelp in coordinating global & country related initiatives and staff mandates in GDS SpainCo-ordinate with the country GCO, and Procurement teams for vendor contracts & agreementsAssist in preparing dashboards and other MISAssisting the GDS RM lead and center head with the review, development and implementation of compliance processes, rules and standards through policiesCoordinating compliance audits and testing in GDS SpainBCP Role:The individual will work closely with GDS BCP program office to provide overall coordination of business continuity and emergency response activities for GDS SpainProvide an effective interface to the Service lines/functions at the centerSupport the assessment, review, and implementation of recovery strategiesSupport the enhancement, maintenance and testing of BCP’sParticipate in/help facilitate all BCP/ERP activities like BIA, training and testingCollaborate with key personnel from functions such as Technology, Facility and Admin, Talent team and other relevant teamsSupport the preparation and delivery of training and awareness materialsAvailability/flexibility required due to the nature of roleSkills and attributes for successTotal work experience of 5-6 yearsExposure to emergency and/or business continuity planning (preferred)Exhibits flexibility and self-confidenceExposure to global projects preferredProject management and change management skillsProficient verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter with attention to detailEffective organization and prioritization skillsAbility to maintain accurate and confidential informationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to influence and communicate effectively across all organizational levelsMust be able to deal effectively with ambiguityAbility to build and maintain interpersonal relationshipsTo qualify for the role, you must haveGraduate or equivalentExposure to emerging and evolving technologies like AI, Bots, RPA and tools such and similar as Archer, Everbridge, SharePoint, SAP, Power BI etc.BCP Certification (Associate Business Continuity Professional, Certified Business Continuity Vendor, Certified Functional Continuity Professional, Certified Business Continuity Professional, Master Business Continuity Professional)Ideally, you’ll also haveExperience in working in large matrixed organizationFlexible to travel, if required.Strong knowledge of both business recovery and testing methodologies.Credible experience working in a fast-moving, client-centric multi- national environmentWhat we look forAbility to work with people across cultures and time zones.Have a dedication to deliver results within strict time frames.Self-starter with strong eye for detail with an ability to prioritize the function at senior levels.A team player with a curious mindset – should be open to continuous learnings and improvementsSelf-motivated with an ability to produce high quality output and self-checks with minimal supervisionWhat we offerEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
