Your Tasks In this role, you will become a technical reference in assessing and solving structural challenges within our wind turbine fleet. Performing structural verifications for concrete and steel structures within tower development projects Collaborating with internal and external experts and suppliers, acting as a technical partner to drive robust engineering solutions. Designing and evaluating new tubular steel, concrete and hybrid towers and anchor cages Preparing high‑quality technical documentation, including reports, calculations, and project deliverables aligned with our internal project management standards. Leading root cause analyses for field issues, identifying both causes and fast, cost‑effective solutions, and supporting their implementation on site. Engagement in reducing the \"cost of energy\" and increasing productivity in tower development Focus on lessons learned and continuous improvement of products and processes with standardization where possible Your Profile A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar. Solid knowledge of international standards such as IEC 61400‑6, Eurocodes, Model Codes, and DIBt guidelines. Experience with finite element analysis (Ansys, Abaqus). Understanding of bolted flange connections, pretensioning systems, and fatigue analysis. Advanced programming skills—Python is a strong asset. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment. Fluency in English; German and/or Spanish are a plus. At least 5 years of experience in similar engineering roles. Willingness to travel occasionally.
