Spa Director – Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort Job Description Position: Spa DirectorDepartment: Spa & WellnessReports To: Operations Manager / Hotel Management TeamVacancies: 1 Overview: As Spa Director, you will lead the spa and wellness operations at one of Europe’s most prestigious luxury resort spas. You will shape a high-performance team, drive financial performance, and enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional service standards. Responsibilities: Lead and develop the spa team to ensure top-tier performance. Analyse business performance and establish continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with operational standards, reporting, and procedures. Plan, execute, and monitor spa promotions, sales strategies, and up-selling programmes. Coordinate closely with hotel management to align spa and resort operations. Maintain world-class cleanliness, hygiene, service quality, and guest engagement. Conduct meetings, trainings, performance reviews, and team development activities. Manage spa cost control, inventories, and reporting accuracy. Serve as a key liaison with hotel leadership and guests for seamless experiences. Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospitality, including managerial experience in a professional spa environment. Proven ability to analyse business performance and implement strategies for growth. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of spa operations, P&L, and sales strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages beneficial. Ability to work in diverse cultural environments. Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on team development.
