Location: Remote from Spain (an indefinite Spanish employment contract) We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design, implement, and evolve large-scale, high-transaction i Gaming platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, domain knowledge in sports betting and casino gaming, and the ability to align solutions with regulatory, security, and business objectives. 10+ years in software engineering or solution architecture for high-transaction, regulated digital platforms (i Gaming experience strongly preferred). Proven success leading cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex projects on time and at scale. i Gaming Expertise End-to-end architecture experience across sports betting, casino gaming, and player engagement systems. Major i Gaming providers (e.G., Third-party game suppliers (e.G., Experience in modernizing legacy i Gaming platforms, including cloud migrations, microservices adoption, containerization, and API-first design. Mastery of i Gaming-specific architectural patterns, such as: Casino game server infrastructure optimized for high-volume, low-latency play. Data lakes and analytics pipelines capturing and processing user behavior at scale. Expertise in high-throughput payment systems, capable of handling millions of transactions daily with full compliance to AML and KYC requirements. Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Go, or similar) for infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, and testing pipelines. Hands-on experience implementing i Gaming security best practices, including: Encryption of sensitive data at rest and in transit. Track record delivering solutions across multi-brand, multi-jurisdiction environments. Familiarity with responsible gaming mechanisms, such as deposit limits, real-time loss monitoring, and self-exclusion APIs. Experience with cloud-native observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK) and Fin Ops practices for cost optimization. AWS/Azure Architect Pro, TOGAF, GLI-19, ISO 27001). Lead modernization journeys that future-proof i Gaming platforms against regulatory, technical, and market shifts. Design scalable, resilient, and secure i Gaming solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Develop end-to-end i Gaming platform architectures, integrating networking, security, and application components. Provide architectural leadership in defining best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud adoption. i Gaming Platform Migration & Modernization Lead the design and execution of migrating on-premise and legacy applications to the cloud. Ensure cloud solutions align with multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies where required. Design security frameworks, including IAM, encryption, network security, and data protection policies. Ensure cloud solutions comply with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR. Implement cloud governance to standardize deployments and enforce security best practices. Performance Optimization & Cost Efficiency Optimize i Gaming platforms infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Utilize cost management tools to track and optimize cloud expenses. Ensure cloud solutions meet SLA, SLO, and SLI requirements. Work closely with Architects, Dev Ops Engineers, and Software Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
