We are looking for a Senior Software Asset Management / SAM Exper t to join our team for a multinational leader in the financial sector Key Responsibilities: • Analyze software license and technology inventory data to assess consumption, actual usage and acquired rights • Perform licensing calculations, reconciliations and Effective License Position analysis • Evaluate scenarios, forecast license consumption and prepare reports on cost, compliance and infrastructure impact • Interpret technical data related to servers, virtual machines, databases, Active Directory and discovery tools • Analyze information from tools such as Snow, Flexera, BMC, Tanium or similar platforms • Present conclusions and recommendations to managers to support infrastructure, cost and compliance decisions Skills: Essential: • More than 5–6 years of specific experience in Software Asset Management / IT Asset Management, ideally in enterprise, banking, consulting or large multinational environments • Real experience in technical-functional SAM, licensing metrics, data analysis, compliance and cost optimization • Strong knowledge of licensing metrics and mechanisms from vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware or Red Hat • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines, databases, technical architecture, discovery tools and technology inventory • Ability to analyze complex licensing scenarios and translate conclusions into clear recommendations • Fluent English level Desirable: • Experience with contracts, purchasing, vendors and renewals • Experience with SAM and discovery tools such as Snow, Flexera, BMC, Tanium or similar platforms • Previous experience in banking, consulting or large multinational environments Job Conditions & Benefits: Permanent contract.
