Shift Supervisor Trainee – CVS Health

Position Summary: The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry‑level, short‑term position that prepares an employee for future supervisory responsibilities such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform basic operations and management skills training, learn about key aspects of the business, and develop the customer‑service culture of CVS/pharmacy.
Essential Functions

Management – work effectively with store management and crew.
Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities.
Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
Promote CVS customer‑service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
Handle all customer‑relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications: Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills. Advanced communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in retail.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but not required).
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
Time Type: Full time
The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $16.50 – $24.00 per hour.
The typical base hourly rate is $16.50 – $24.00; actual base salary will depend on factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
