Senior Manager, Business Operations COMPANY OVERVIEW: MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group is a leading sports entertainment company with exclusive commercial rights to the most exciting sport on earth. MotoGP™ is the premium class of two-wheel racing which sees the world’s best riders compete in events around the globe in front of a fanbase of 632 million. The 2026 calendar features 22 races across 18 countries and 5 continents and each event across the race weekend is broadcast live to more than 200 countries globally. In July 2025 MotoGP was acquired by Liberty Media Corporation, the owners of Formula 1. Liberty’s acquisition of MotoGP marks a significant milestone, as it brings together the two most important motorsport championships in the world and marks an important next step for future growth. THE ROLE: The Senior Manager of Business Operations will report to the Chief Sporting Officer (“CSO”) and play a key role in managing, coordinating, and helping to define the priorities and business objectives of MotoGP, particularly across the sporting areas. The role will work closely with the CSO on strategic planning and project management for race promotion, operations, sporting, and rider development areas as well as coordinate these plans with Commercial departments, helping to push forward both day-to-day business deliverables and long-term goals. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or business development, who wants broad, hands-on experience to problem solving and execution across a growing global sports entertainment organization. The position requires an understanding of project management and coordination, financial analysis, and communications, with an ability to keep track of evolving workstreams internally and the global sports industry broadly. For the first six months of the role you will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy on an interim basis. As you learn the business and progress within the role, you will earn greater responsibility and work directly with the CSO in addition to other senior levels of management. This is an in-person role based in Madrid, Spain. What You'll Do: Collaborate with CSO to execute strategic initiatives that drive enterprise growth Develop and execute long-term projects within the sporting department alongside various other day-to-day management tasks Drive cohesion and collaboration, staying up to date with key projects across the sporting department and ensuring alignment across other areas of the business Summarize key takeaways from director-level meetings and ensure accountability and monitoring across follow-up areas Prepare executive-ready presentations and analyses to support leadership and board decision-making, including assisting in preparing quarterly reports to submit to the Board of Directors Drive the planning and execution of annual strategic business events, helping to develop deliverables and ensuring clear outcomes Analyze key global sports market trends and provide insight and recommendation to CSO EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, corporate development, or business development Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for building clear, compelling narratives Excellent project management, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset to work across all departments in the company and build trust across functions and levels High learning agility, proactive, and adaptable; thrives in high-performance environments and takes ownership from problem definition through execution Experience structuring analyses and turning insights into clear recommendations with measurable business impact TRAVEL: Travel as necessary to MotoGP office in Barcelona and other meetings as needed Based on business needs, attend 5-7 Grands Prix per year. LANGUAGES: English (full professional fluency) and Spanish (desirable).
