It is also among the top 10 law firms in Spain by revenue and has been chosen as a reference advisor for start‑ups by Startups Real.If you consider yourself a rigorous professional with strong capability, autonomy, and good communication skills, and you are interested in joining a great team of more than 300 professionals, join us!What will your day‑to‑day look like?We are seeking to hire a lawyer specialized in banking and finance law, capable of managing the following responsibilities:Advise on licensing, authorisation and registration processes before the Bank of Spain and the CNMV.Provide ongoing regulatory advice to financial institutions, investment services firms, payment institutions, electronic money institutions, fund managers and other regulated financial entities.Advise on fintech, digital assets, sustainable financing and emerging regulatory framework.Draft and negotiate loan agreements, syndicated facilities, security documents, refinancing structures and other financial contracts.Advise on corporate transactions, acquisitions, investments and restructurings, particularly involving regulated entities and financial services businesses.Lead matters with a high degree of autonomy, maintain direct client relationships and coordinate junior lawyers within the team.Actively contribute to the growth and development of the Financial Services practice.The ideal candidate will bring expertise in navigating complex legal frameworks and delivering strategic legal counsel to our clients. Candidates combining financial regulatory expertise with significant experience in financing transactions and corporate/M&A transactions will be particularly valued.The position may be based in Madrid or Barcelona depending on the candidate’s location and profile.What is our ideal candidate like?Our ideal candidate must have:Bachelor’s Degree in Law.A minimum of 7 years of post‑qualification experience, ideally gained in a leading law firm advising financial institutions, investment funds, fintech companies and other regulated entities.Strong experience in financial services regulation and a solid understanding of corporate and transactional matters.Master’s degree, postgraduate studies, or specialised courses in topics related to Banking and Finance Law.Advanced level of English.Additional languages will be a plus for your candidacy.
