T‑CaaS Platform
T‑CaaS (Telekom Cluster‑as‑a‑Service) is a platform jointly developed by Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH and Technology Delivery International. This platform provides managed Kubernetes clusters for all cloud‑native applications, empowering application developers and owners across Deutsche Telekom and its national companies (NatCos) to:
Containerize their applications.
Fast‑deploy and manage their application lifecycle.
Operate at scale in production environments without worrying about the underlying infrastructure.
Deutsche Telekom Technik and Technology Delivery International are collaborating to create a unified/converged T‑CaaS platform. The goal of T‑CaaS Convergence is to achieve the following:
Streamline the creation and management of Kubernetes clusters.
Guarantee carrier‑grade quality for a shared cloud stack in Europe.
Maintain high consistency in service delivery for the mass market.
Enhance development and operations by consolidating resources and expertise.
Responsibilities
Write software to automatically deploy clusters, manage software components running on top of them and integrate with the surrounding infrastructure.
Contribute to upstream open‑source projects we consume to make improvements and fix bugs.
Configure software components running on clusters to provide platform features.
Support and enable the migration of existing Kubernetes clusters to the new management platform.
Provide third‑level support to the operations teams running Kubernetes platforms across Europe.

Skill Requirements
English: fluent speaking and listening (B2).
Solid software engineering experience (any languages, platforms).
At least basic knowledge of Go, ideally using it for several years.
Experience with microservice/cloud architecture (http APIs, small decoupled programs).
Strong background in using Kubernetes, preferably experience operating it as well.
Optional Skills
Knowledge of controller‑runtime (kubebuilder).
Experience with Cluster API (or any of the alternatives).
Contributions to open‑source projects.
