Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role:Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing queries and dashboards in Athena, BigQuery and Tableau Server to understand current data structures and reporting logic.Rewrite and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to transition from Athena and BigQuery to Snowflake.Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure new Snowflake-based data sources and dashboard metrics match existing Athena and Big Query data sources and dashboards.Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports connected to Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver data solutions to meet organizational needs.Create comprehensive documentation for data sources, ETL processes, and reporting solutionsMust-have Skills6+ years of proven expertise as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer with previous experience with data migration projects, particularly transitioning from Athena and BigQuery to Snowflake.Advanced skills in Tableau for dashboard development and report creation.Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and methodologies.Experience with performance tuning and optimization in both Snowflake and Tableau environments.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Nice-to-have:AI Tooling Proficiency : Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
