We are looking for a Senior C# Engineer to join our FinTech team developing a remittance and payment services platform. The project focuses on building secure and compliant systems for international money transfers, partner integrations, and automation of financial operations.
We expect the new team member to be technically strong, proactive, and business-oriented, with proven experience in FinTech system development — ideally in areas such as core banking, remittance, or API-based financial integrations. You will work closely with business and operations teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and transparent financial workflows.
Only candidates located in Madrid (or willing to relocate) will be considered.

Requirements / Your Background

5+ years of commercial experience in backend development using C# / .NET
Proven experience in FinTech systems — core banking, remittance platforms, payment processing
Strong understanding of money movement, reconciliation, and transaction workflows
Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, partner/banking integrations, and financial automation
Solid knowledge of SQL databases and experience with data consistency/reconciliation logic
Experience building and maintaining scalable backend services and API‑based architectures
Understanding of security and compliance related to financial data exchange
Ability to define and document functional and technical requirements
Experience collaborating with business and operations teams to improve financial processes
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
English B2+
