As we are expanding our backend team, we are currently looking for a Backend Developer with the following profile: Responsibilities Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems Design and develop robust APIs and services Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Design system architecture and make key technical decisions Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices Optimise performance, scalability, and reliability Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards Anticipate edge cases and design resilient solutions Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience developing with Java and/or Kotlin, building microservices with Spring Boot Highly-skilled at writing automated tests and working with high-quality coding standards Solid knowledge of RabbitMQ and/or Kafka and relational databases i.e. PostgreSQL Advanced experience in cloud-native development Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines Passion for clean code and continuous learning. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Advanced Spanish and intermediate English Experience working in Agile environments with an open and collaborative mindset ⭐ Nice to Have (experience with) Kotlin Broad grasp of Kubernetes No relational databases i.e. MongoDB Experience with different cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP). Exposure to backend architectures. Mentoring junior developers.
