We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Spain in a remote working mode. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure, automating delivery pipelines and enabling seamless deployments of business-critical applications across global markets. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure secure, scalable and high-performing cloud environments, while promoting Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD best practices.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale transformation for a leading global financial market infrastructure provider, ensuring operational excellence and continuous innovation within AWS cloud ecosystems.ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications, driving automation across workflowsArchitect and migrate workloads to AWS, ensuring security, cost optimization and performanceBuild and maintain AWS environments for high availability, scalability and complianceImplement Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform or AWS CloudFormationProvide guidance to development teams on IaC and CI/CD processesSet up cloud monitoring frameworks, optimizing infrastructure for performance and costOversee the full release lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployments and continuous deliveryApply cloud security best practices including IAM controls, encryption and compliance measuresAutomate recurring operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash or ShellCollaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and enhance DevOps workflowsRequirements5+ years of experience managing AWS-based production environmentsStrong practical knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAMExpertise in AWS networking components: VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Load Balancer, API Gateway, Security GroupsExperience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration in AWSProficiency with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, DataDog or PrometheusSkilled in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure-as-Code automationHands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or AWS CodePipelineUnderstanding of cloud cost management and optimization strategiesKnowledge of security compliance standards, access control and encryptionAdvanced scripting skills in Python, Bash or Shell for automating operationsExcellent communication skills and collaboration experience with cross-functional teamsEnglish proficiency (B2 or above)Nice to haveDevelopment skills in Python or GoFamiliarity with native AI cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI)Experience in designing and running AI agent frameworks and next-gen coding agents (Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity)We offerPrivate health insuranceEPAM Employees Stock Purchase Plan100% paid sick leaveReferral ProgramProfessional certificationLanguage coursesEPAM is a leading digital transformation services and product engineering company with 61,700+ EPAMers in 55+ countries and regions.
