Descripción del trabajoAskerra is an SAT prep company based in Barcelona. We work with students from around the world preparing for US university admissions — through courses, webinars, YouTube, and a growing library of learning materials. The company is built on nearly 10,000 hours of one-on-one tutoring, and we're now turning that experience into something that can reach a lot more people.The SAT is a standardized test covering reading, writing, and math. You don't need to know it to apply — we'll teach you what you need.You'll work with the founder to build the content and community side of the business — YouTube, worksheets, webinars, Discord, and whatever else comes up as we grow. ContentHelp prepare and edit scripts, descriptions, and metadata for YouTube contentCo-create and edit SAT worksheets, explanations, practice sets, and supporting contentCo-create webinar content and supporting materialsModerate live sessions — manage chat, field questions, handle logisticsManage and moderate our Discord server and YouTube comminityBe a reliable, knowledgeable presence for students and surface feedback that improves our contentDeveloping a skill set that blends editorial, educational, and community workStrong written English and solid numerical reasoningAble to work closely with someone else's vision and build on itNo SAT experience required — we will teach youWe don't require a specific degree, but a bachelor's is welcome and a CELTA, TEFL, or similar certificate is a plus. Any professional writing experience is valuable — academic, journalistic, editorial, or otherwise. Strong math skills are essential : you'll be working with SAT-level algebra, geometry, and data analysis daily, and you need to be genuinely comfortable with that.As part of the hiring process, we'll ask you to take an actual SAT test after the first interview.
