We are expanding our commercial team and are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to drive new business, develop merchant relationships, and grow our international client portfolio.
About SetoPay
SetoPay SL is a Payment Service Provider based in Marbella. We work with international merchants across iGaming, fintech, and other high-risk sectors.
This is a hands-on, commercially driven role for someone who knows how to identify opportunities, build relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
Role
As a Sales Executive, you will own the sales process from initial prospecting through contract negotiation, closing, and handover to the onboarding team.
You will be responsible for generating new business, building a strong sales pipeline, understanding merchant requirements, and matching them with SetoPay’s payment solutions.
What you will do
- Identify and develop new merchant opportunities across international markets
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry connections, and other sales channels
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract signing, and handover to onboarding
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and key decision-makers
- Understand merchant business models, payment requirements, and challenges and identify suitable solutions
- Prepare and present commercial proposals and product presentations
- Negotiate commercial terms and close new business
- Keep CRM records, pipeline data, and sales reporting accurate and up to date
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth merchant onboarding process
- Monitor market developments, competitors, and new business opportunities
- Attend relevant industry events and build new commercial relationships
- Provide market and client feedback to help improve SetoPay’s commercial offering
- Work towards agreed sales and revenue targets
What we require
- Minimum 2 years of proven B2B sales experience within payments, fintech, PSPs, acquiring, payment processing, or related financial services
- Proven experience in new business development, outbound prospecting, and closing deals
- Strong understanding of online payments, payment gateways, acquiring, and the merchant acquisition cycle
- Knowledge of risk, fraud, chargebacks, and compliance concepts within payments
- Strong prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with international clients and decision-makers
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Comfortable working with CRM platforms, sales reporting, and standard sales tools
- Self-motivated, resilient, commercially driven, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
- Experience working with international markets and cross-border payments is highly valued
- Existing relationships or a network within the payments industry is a strong advantage

- Candidates seeking remote or hybrid work — this is a fully onsite role in Marbella
