Job Summary
As a sales associate you will be the face of our company, highlighting our brand and contributing to our reputation among customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers, recognizing their needs for our products and services, and articulating our purpose in a professional and educational manner.
Responsibilities
Customer Service – proactively engage with customers, ask questions, listen to needs, direct them to merchandise, inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, and the STAR card.
Customer Service – provide premier service, build positive inclusive and respectful relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
Organization – maintain store appearance.
Sales – cross‑sell products, know store layout, suggest latest trends and promotions based on customer needs, upsell products, and use company tools and technology to provide accurate product knowledge.
Point‑of‑Sale – process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit, debit, and handle cash counting and returning accurate amounts.
Paperwork – complete various forms, reports, and reconciliation.
Inventory – manage merchandise, complete inventory processes, and ensure accurate ticketing.
Dependability – adhere to schedule and complete assignments.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic product knowledge of merchandise.
Retail experience preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including reading, writing, and interpreting instructional documents.
Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
Basic math skills.
Reasoning ability – multitask while attending to customers, flexible to business needs, and work independently.
Physical ability for constant walking, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for at least two hours, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and lifting 25–50 lb.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for at least two consecutive hours. May involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Involves lifting at least 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs in some departments. Work typically performed indoors but may be assigned outdoors depending on location.

Available to work a variety of hours which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Eligibility
This position is open to U.S. citizens who are either active duty members or family members of U.S. Military or Civilian personnel currently assigned to Spain.
