Join us!Your role as a Project ManagerKey responsibilities:The Project Manager is the link between all of the moving parts in building a new worksite, from headquarters in the Netherlands, contractors, suppliers and all cross functional departments at NewCold. The Project Manager is responsible for the entire project until the date operations start (commercially). In this role, he/she makes sure that the project gets delivered on time, within budget and in scope. While managing the project, the Project Manager also ensures that Health & Safety protocols are embedded in project scope, that collaboration in the project team is safe and sound, that reporting to key stakeholders is accurate, complete and in-time.What will you do?Manage all (high-level) project deliverablesOwn the creation and management of the project budgetOwn the creation and management of the project scheduleEnsure all parties are aware of and abide by the quality standards that will be used in the projectSupervise the project financially and contractuallyContract managementMonitor the design and procurement with support of the specialist disciplines (D&E, MHE, Procurement) and the associated engineering companiesTake leadership in the project and manage the local project teamCreate a helicopter view on the project, identify when and where support and guidance is needed to bring forward activities/suppliers/team-membersRecord all project related documentation, such as permits, drawings, minutes etcand make sure the timeline of permits are actively being managedOrganize and facilitate Steering Committee meetings, organize and lead project meetings and coordination meetingsPeriodically report to the Project Director, Steerco, CPO and VP ProjectsMaintain effective and ongoing communication with all partiesExperience and qualifications:Master / Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering3 - 7 years professional experience as a Project Manager on complex construction, automation or logistics projectsManaging projects with multiple moving pieces that are highly technical and complex in natureNative Spanish languageIn-depth knowledge of principles, practices and theories of project managementExposure to greenfield constructionPlease note the exact location of the project is Noblejas, Toledo.You are kindly asked to apply with your CV in English.Whyjoin NewCold?At NewCold, our people are our most valuable asset.
