ph3Job Description Summary /h3pWe are hiring a Project Engineer to manage engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements. /ppIn this role you will promote adherence to Sandoz's Code of Conduct, Integrity policies, and operational excellence standards, contributing to a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead engineering projects from conceptual phase through to commissioning. /liliDefine scope, budget, planning, and internal/external resources. /liliEnsure compliance with project management based on the general investment procedure. /liliImplement and design robust solutions, considering process requirements. /liliPrepare Project Charters, F-CAR, P-CAR, SI, and Decision Matrices for new projects. /liliEnsure the implementation of corporate requirements in the development of assigned projects. /liliCollaborate in the definition of user requirements/specifications. /liliContract, coordinate, and supervise services performed by external companies. /liliControl budget. /liliDraft and sign work permits for general/special works. /liliManage change control for the different projects. /liliPropose improvements to existing facilities and implementation of new technologies. /liliIdentify risks in project execution and apply preventive measures. /liliEnsure that the generation and execution of facility qualification protocols are aligned with corporate standards. /liliEnsure compliance with facility requalification deadlines according to the VMP. /liliEnsure the safety of personnel and processes. /liliMaintain order and cleanliness. /liliExecute assigned safety actions in Enablon. /liliEnsure product quality and the aseptic process in the production area. /liliFollow up on incidents. /liliCarry out/collaborate in deviation investigations. /liliImplement assigned CAPAs within the established timelines. /liliComplete assigned training (online/on-site) as required. /liliManage and lead the Department’s assigned SOPs. /liliPropose energy efficiency and sustainability projects. /liliProvide support during internal and external audits. /liliParticipate in the resolution of complex failures (root cause analysis). /liliWork closely with the Engineering Manager and the Head of Engineering and Maintenance. /liliCollaborate with other departments. /liliEstablish effective internal and external communication. /liliKeep knowledge up to date, both technical and in legal aspects related to environment, labor, hygiene, and safety. /liliMaintain a significant on-site presence at the plant facilities. /liliCollaborate in the role assigned within the Plant Emergency Plan. /li /ulh3Key Performance Indicators /h3ulliNo critical observations in internal/external Quality or HSE audits. /liliNo serious injuries or fatalities in the assigned projects (0 accidents). /liliTimely completion of safety actions. /liliMaintain internal training record 90%. /liliMeet the costs and deadlines of the assigned projects. /liliTimely completion of CAPAs and deviations. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliUniversity degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. /liliMinimum 3 years of experience in engineering project management within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or highly regulated manufacturing environment. /liliProven experience managing capital investment projects, from concept design through execution, qualification, and handover. /liliStrong knowledge of GMP requirements, equipment qualification, validation processes, and change control management. /liliExperience working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and external suppliers in complex technical projects. /liliKnowledge of risk assessment methodologies, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools. /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, budget, and timeline requirements. /liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. /liliCommitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and operational excellence. /liliFluent in Spanish and English (mandatory).
