You will be the bridge between the energy world and the software team. You'll join a small product team, working closely with the Head of Innovation and the Product Designer, and use your understanding of how energy assets are operated to define what the platform should do. It's a hands-on role: you'll own parts of the product end to end, from discovery to delivery. At the start you'll work across different areas of the platform to get to know the product and its users. What you will do Talk to asset managers and operators of renewable and storage assets to understand their daily challenges. Turn those insights into clear proposals, backed by evidence, to help shape the roadmap. Define features end to end: epics, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria. Build and test prototypes together with the Product Designer. Own and prioritise the backlog for your area. Work closely with the engineering team: explain the energy side, hand over requirements and clarify doubts. Review finished work and accept it from a product point of view. Support Sales and Delivery from time to time with product and domain knowledge.
