Over the last 15 years we have expanded, opening offices in Madrid, Valencia, Brazil and Germany, while maintaining our close and people-focused approach.Would you like to join our team?At Btech we are in a phase of growth and expansion, and we are looking for a Product Engineer to work from our Martorell headquarters, with the mission of developing various accessories and other vehicle parts for a major OEM in the automotive sector.What will your responsibilities be?Define the part concept and fixation, producing 3D designs and 2D drawings in CATIA V5 and applying tolerance studies in the design.Develop, test and validate parts according to the customer’s specifications and deadlines, managing the allocated budget.Plan, manage and report the development process per product, including the coordination of activities with suppliers and other customer divisions.Ensure development quality by applying the required process criteria and documenting the evidence in follow-up meetings and gate reviews.Prepare regular written reports (weekly and per project) on status, risks, forecasts and next steps, as well as respond to enquiries from the After Sales area.Take part in supplier selection and in the organisation and execution of fitting checks, ensuring proper coordination and documentation.Standardise and document development procedures (SOPs), assess new accessory opportunities and contribute to long-term accessory strategy planning.What profile are we looking for?Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering or similar.Around 5 years of experience in a similar position.Experience in the development of automotive parts.Fluent English (minimum B2).Soft skills: problem-solving, communication, negotiation.What do we offer?Working environment: Be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team in a fast-growing company.Professional development: Growth and development opportunities through continuous training.Benefits: Variable remuneration, flexible working hours, free training for employees, option to contract private medical insurance, easy parking, and easy access by public transport.
