This opportunity is for STEM PhD experts interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects involving state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs).
The role involves applying deep subject matter expertise to develop challenging, domain-specific problems and create high-quality data that helps improve the reasoning, accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities of next-generation AI systems.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in a STEM discipline from a university in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Europe.
- Expertise in a relevant field, including:
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Computer Science
- Statistics
- Economics
- Or a closely related STEM discipline
- Deep subject matter expertise with the ability to develop complex, research-level problems within your domain.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop challenging, domain-specific problems based on your area of expertise.
- Create high-quality reference solutions and explanations.
- Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, reasoning, and technical quality.
- Identify errors and opportunities to improve AI-generated outputs.
- Apply advanced subject matter expertise to help improve the reasoning capabilities of large language models.
- Contribute high-quality data to support the development and evaluation of next-generation AI systems.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $70–$75/hour.
