Medical Doctor (Home Care Visits) – Santiago de Compostela
Indication: Phenylketonuria (PKU)
About the Role
For an ongoing clinical project, we are seeking a Medical Doctor to conduct home care visits for patients with Phenylketonuria (PKU) in Madrid and Santiago de Compostela.
The role involves providing medical support during scheduled home visits as part of a long-term patient follow-up program running until December 2026 , with a possibility of extension .
Approximately 2–3 patients will be covered in this region, each receiving 12 home visits over the project duration.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled home care visits for enrolled patients
Perform a Directed Physical Examination during each visit
Ensure patient safety and well-being throughout the visit
Document findings in accordance with study and regulatory requirements
Adhere to GCP guidelines and all applicable ethical and regulatory standards
Visit Details
Number of visits: 12 visits per patient
Visit duration: approximately 1 hour per visit
Travel time: not exceeding 2 hours one-way
Location: Patient homes in and around Santiago
Candidate Profile
Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) eligible to practice in Spain
Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical research
Valid GCP (Good Clinical Practice) certification
Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Strong professionalism and patient-centered approach
Ability to work independently and manage travel logistics
Compensation & Conditions
Hourly rate (working + travel time): €75-80/hour
Mileage reimbursement: €0.50 per km
Contract-based engagement
Flexible scheduling coordinated per patient availability
