Overview
As Legal Counsel for ABB’s Motion High Power area, you advise on legal and integrity matters, supporting the business across Spain and globally. You draft and negotiate contracts, manage legal risks, and help shape strategic transactions while upholding ABB policies. You will train stakeholders, foster cross-functional collaboration, and monitor compliance with Code of Conduct and integrity standards. ResponsabilidadesProvide L&I advisory support to business stakeholders including ABB ManagementDraft, review, and negotiate contracts across their lifecycleMonitor legal affairs including integrity, IP, and litigation mattersSupport strategic transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestituresIdentify and mitigate legal risks and opportunities as a trusted business partnerEnsure compliance with integrity standards and Code of Conduct across policiesProvide training on L&I topics and support business strategy developmentFoster cross-functional, multicultural collaboration and stakeholder relationshipsMaintain knowledge of ABB portfolio to manage business and legal risks
Requisitos principalesSpanish law degree (Grado en Derecho) and qualification as AbogadoMinimum 5 years of legal experience in a law firm or multinational companyUnderstanding of complex cross-border contractual setups for system deliveriesStrong communication and negotiation skillsFluency in Spanish and EnglishWillingness to travelStrong communicationNegotiation skillsCross-functional collaborationContract drafting and negotiationContract lifecycle managementKnowledge of integrity standards and Code of Conduct
