Applus+ is one of the world's leading companies in testing, inspection, and certification, operating in over 70 countries across five continents with a team of more than 27,000 professionals.Applus+ is looking for aHead of Digital Factoryto join theCorporate IT Departmentand establish a unified, secure, and highly efficient global software production ecosystem that leverages standardized processes and shared talent across all international development factories, ensuring predictable delivery, world‑class quality, and maximum strategic velocity.Main ResponsibilitiesGlobal Standardization and Governance:Establish a single, unified Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and mandate standardized technology stacks and compliance controls to operate all factories as one network.Resource Optimization and Cost Control:Maximize the efficiency of the talent pool by standardizing skills, managing global capacity, and centralizing knowledge for effective resource allocation across all locations. Minimize development costs.Strategic Predictability and Business Integration:Implement unified metrics for global and squad performances and problem resolution. Serve as the central demand manager to ensure the factories’ output is predictable and fully aligned with the company's global strategic priorities.Mandatory Adoption of AI and GenAI Tools:Navigate into the development process to dramatically increase engineering velocity, enhance code quality, and optimize testing and security functions across the entire global value chain.Transversal Technology Projects:Collaborate in transversal projects for the Technology function, including participation in the application governance model for the Group, transformational initiatives and other strategic initiatives.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.MBA preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.8+ years of experience in software engineering, including SaaS platform architecture.Proven experience designing and delivering scalable cloud‑based platforms (Azure, Openshift, AWS).Strong hands‑on expertise with DevOps, CI/CD, and integrating complex systems.Experience managing multinational outsourced development teams with clear accountability.Experience in Python and React, among others (.net).Familiarity with microservices, API design, security best practices, and ML‑specific architecture.Ability to translate scientific and ML requirements into software implementations.Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Confident in customer‑facing discussions and technical solution design.Proven experience in project management and agile methodologies.Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make strategic decisions.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.What We OfferThe opportunity to lead a Corporate Department within the Digital Factory area, providing services to all divisions of the group at both national and international levels.Professional development opportunities and continuous training.Employee parking.Subsidized employee cafeteria.Applus+ is an equal opportunity employer.
