Experteer Overview As Head of A2R Iberia, you will own end-to-end accounts-to-report operations for Spain and Portugal, partnering with the CFO and finance business partners to deliver accurate, timely financial statements. You will lead a cross-country A2R service, drive KPI performance, and ensure IFRS, IAS and local standards compliance. The role involves M&A-related accounting impacts, audit coordination, and process improvement within a HUB/BPO framework. You’ll shape a cooperative culture and oversee tax and transfer pricing activities to support strategic transactions and regulatory reporting.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Ensure true and fair financial statements for 2 countries and 6 legal entities, overseeing S2P, O2C, and ConOps places.
- Deliver efficient, high-quality end-to-end A2R service with KPI-driven performance.
- Submit legal entity reports to enable external financial disclosures.
- Manage accounting impact of M&A projects, including inventory, asset transfers, and restructurings; support due diligence and post-transaction stabilization.
- Lead Balance Sheet reviews to ensure IFRS/IAS and Sanofi standards compliance.
- Collaborate with Global Process Managers to design and implement A2R projects and standard processes.
- Adopt best practices from GFS or external providers; drive documentation andstandardization.
- Ensure SOX/compliance controls and local regulatory adherence across Iberia entities.
- Coordinate external audits from fees to final memo, with Northern Europe team.
- Partner with CFO on strategic transactions and with HUBs to align IFRS/IAS/SAGA A2R activities.
- Foster collaboration across A2R teams and stakeholders; manage HUB transitions and post-stabilization.
- Coordinate legal entity restructurings and lead Accounts Committee activities; support ESG reporting.
- Oversee tax activities: quarterly tax balances, BEPS, DAC, CbCR reporting, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
- Manage transfer pricing with Central TP team and oversee adjustments and documentation.
- Lead tax compliance responses to tax authority audits; ensure efficient engagement with local Tax Managers and advisors.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders across regions and functions to enable efficient change management.
- Manage statutory accounts audits with external auditors for assigned entities.
- Lead and coordinate tax and transfer pricing documentation and data reconciliations with statutory accounts.
- Ensure timely tax payments and align Iberia transfer pricing with group policy.Responsabilidades
- Finance background; auditor experience is aplus
- Experience in corporate tax, transfer pricing, and/or indirect tax
- International experience in multicultural environments
- Experience in HUB/BPO transitions and leading professional tax teams
- Track record of large efficiency-improvement programs and transformation with change management
- Strong understanding of IFRS (incl. IAS 12) and local standards
- Excellent program/project management, strategic thinking, and problem-solving
- Delivery-focused: business case, planning, execution, ROI
- Strong business judgment and prioritization in fast-paced environments
- Executive-level internal/external communication skills

- Solid knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese tax legislation (WHT, VAT, TP Local File)
- Advanced IT: Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot), SAP, PowerBI
