Job Title:Golang DeveloperJob Type:PermanentSalary:€55,000 (FTE)Role Location:Hybrid (Marbella) or Remote within SpainThe Company:An innovative international technology iGaming company operating a proprietary, large-scale digital platform serving global markets. The business builds and scales high-traffic consumer products, operating in a fast-paced, product-led environment with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and continuous innovation.Role and Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient backend services using Go.Develop distributed, event-driven systems leveraging technologies such as Kafka and gRPC.Integrate newly acquired platforms into the core ecosystem and enhance their capabilities.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.Contribute to backend architectural decisions and continuously improve engineering standards and tooling.Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system reliability in production.Job Requirements:Minimum 3 years’ commercial experience developing production-grade systems in Go.Strong experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (event streaming and messaging patterns).Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.Production experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.Experience working with Docker and containerised environments.Strong understanding of system design concepts including state management, ordering, and idempotency.Benefits:Hybrid working model (for candidates based locally) or fully remote within Spain23 days annual leave plus public holidaysPrivate health insurance (including family cover)Language learning supportRegular company events and team activitiesOngoing professional development opportunitiesModern office facilities including meals, wellness perks, and recreational spaces (for office-based employees)Accessibility Statement:We make an active choice to be inclusive towards everyone every day.
