We are looking for an experienced Spain Payroll Specialist (Tecnico/a de Nominas) to join Teamed's Spanish subsidiary on a part-time basis (50-60% FTE). Descúbralo a continuación.This is a newly in-housed role — you will be taking ownership of a payroll that has previously been managed by an external provider, so experience managing a transition from a gestoria or outsourced bureau to an in-house setup is a significant advantage. Accuracy, deep knowledge of Spanish payroll legislation, and strong controls are central to what we need.This is a genuine opportunity for an experienced professional to own a clean, well-defined payroll at a company that values autonomy and trust — with the flexibility of a part-time arrangement.End-to-end monthly payroll: run the complete payroll cycle - calculation, validation, authorisation and payment file preparation.Social Security administration: manage all employee registrations and deregistrations (altas y bajas) with the TGSS; submit monthly filings via Sistema RED / SILTRA/ INSS…etcIRPF and tax declarations: calculate and apply correct IRPF withholding rates; Contract management: process new hire and leaver notifications via Contrat@ / SEPE; manage contract modifications, extensions and termination paperwork.Payroll inputs and data changes: manage all employee data updates (new hires, leavers, salary changes, absences, special bonuses) ensuring accuracy ahead of cut-off.Payroll controls and reconciliation: apply strong payroll controls; reconcile payroll costs against Finance records; Employee queries: act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers in Spain, responding promptly and accurately.Process documentation: maintain and improve payroll procedures and process documentation, keeping them current with regulatory changes.Regulatory awareness: stay current with changes to Spanish payroll legislation, Social Security rates, and IRPF tables; Provider transition: work with Teamed's current external provider to ensure a smooth, complete handover of all payroll data, configurations and historical records.Minimum 5 years of hands-on, end-to-end Spanish payroll experience — you have run payroll yourself, not just overseen it.Formal qualification in Relaciones Laborales, Administracion y Finanzas (CFGS), Derecho Laboral, or equivalent — you understand the legal framework, not just the software.Spanish as your native or near-native working language — all employee communications and regulatory filings are conducted in Spanish.Proficiency in at least one Spanish payroll platform (Nominasol, Sage Nominaplus, A3nom, Meta4 or equivalent) and confident use of Excel for reconciliation and reporting.Proven knowledge of Sistema RED / SILTRA, Contrat.. Deep familiarity with the Estatuto de los Trabajadores, Social Security contribution rules and the application of convenios colectivos.Working English at B2 level or above — for communication with Teamed's UK-based parent company and Global teams.Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership — you treat the payroll as your own.Comfortable working independently and managing your own deadlines in a part-time structure.Experience managing the transition of a payroll from an external gestoria or bureau to an in-house function.This role is a genuine opportunity to own and shape a payroll function from the ground up — bringing it in-house with your expertise.
