Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the Barcelona studio's finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, budget control, and compliance with local and group standards. You will provide reliable financial insight to support decision-making and collaborate with Production, HR, and the Studio Manager. As part of Vantage Finance, you will engage in global processes and contribute to continuous improvements. - Oversee accounting activities (AP/AR, reconciliations, monthly closings)
- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts with variance analysis
- Produce monthly financial reports for local management and HQ
- Ensure compliance with local standards, tax regulations, and group policies
- Monitor project budgets and financial tracking
- Coordinate internal and external audits; act as main financial contact
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Manage the finance and accounting team
- Advise on Spanish financial and legal requirements related to R&D subventions and grants
- Manage documentation for public funding programs
- Provide data-driven financial insights through BI reports and stakeholder collaboration
- Possible cross-functional support for Vantage Finance reportingResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
- Knowledge of IFRS and Spanish accounting standards
- Understanding of Spanish tax regulations and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish; or willingness to learnSpanish
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Experience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial management tools
- Located or willing to relocate in Barcelona
