ResponsibilitiesExecution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of high‑tech equipment on rail vehicles (coach roof/underframe).Execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of cooling, water and air piping.Planning and tracking of periodic maintenance activities.Planning and tracking of corrective maintenance activities.Cabling and interconnections between equipment, including power supply.Calibration & tuning of monitoring systems.Participation in measurement campaigns on the customer’s rail network.Operation of computers and hardware of monitoring systems during inspection runs.Operation of software measuring systems, data storage management and system configuration.Submission of on‑board track inspection results and reports to the customer.Basic troubleshooting of monitoring systems.Local support for system specialists, on site or remotely from Italian offices.Management of spare parts at customer facilities.Suggesting product improvements at a 360° level.Management of the customer referent directly involved and first assistant.Diagnosis, investigation and problem solving.Electrical measurements.Mechanical measurements.OS installation and configuration.Network configuration and diagnostics.Software basic installation and configuration.Technical Skills, Qualifications, and Professional ExperienceTechnical background in Electronics, Computer Science, Informatics, or Mechanical Engineering.At least 2 years of relevant experience in electronic, automotive, railway or oil & gas industry.Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.Windows OS and LAN network installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting (preferably).Railway geography, system and track structure knowledge (preferably).Capability of reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings.Use of basic tools, crimping tools and test equipment such as oscilloscope and signal generator.Expertise in basic electrical activities: cabling, crimping, soldering, networking.Knowledge of conduits/cable paths for data and power transmission between systems.Knowledge of cabling for electrical and special railway components, including connector and termination for rail application, military connectors, MT and BT connectors, and fiber‑optic termination (preferable).Expertise in basic mechanical activities: drilling, threading, sealing, cutting, painting.Knowledge of cooling, water and air piping plant installation (preferred).Electrical soldering and connector crimping and soldering.Available to travel within Spanish territory, including weekends and night shifts, according to customer inspection runs.Benefits and CompensationCollective Labour Agreement (CCNL): National agreement for Engineering Companies and Technical Design Offices, 12 monthly payments.Contract: Full‑time, permanent contract.Gross Annual Salary (RAL): Between €30,000 and €35,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and skills.Equal Employment OpportunityMermec is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
