TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF CARTAGENA, A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS IS ANNOUNCED FOR THE HIRING OF GROUP II TECHNICAL SUPPORT STAFF FOR SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE RESEARCH AREA OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE DECENTRALIZED COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS (CODE: C-027/26).

TITLE OF THE POSITION OFFERED: Engineer for the development of high-performance decentralized communication systems.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Indefinite.
PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY: Group II (University Diploma, Technical Engineer, Technical Architect, or equivalent).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's Degree in Telematics Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Systems Engineering.
For degrees obtained abroad (including those from the EU), applicants must provide proof that they have obtained the corresponding recognition or, where applicable, the credential attesting to the equivalence of their degree.
WEEKLY DEDICATION: The position will be full time, and the workweek will be 35 hours, carried out from Monday to Friday from 9h to 14h and from 15h to 17h.
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The employee will receive an annual gross salary of 26.071,36 euros.
DURATION: The term of this contract will be contingent upon the availability of budgetary funds for the aforementioned line of research.

INTENDED DATE OF DEPUTY EMPLOYMENT: immediate.
Tasks to be carried out:
C code development for the implementation of protocol stacks in high-performance communication systems.
Integration of communication buses into microcontrollers for communication modems.
Merits to be assessed and evaluation criteria:
Academic Qualifications (50%): The academic record for the degree required for the position will be evaluated.
Specific Training (5%): Specific training related to the contract profile will be evaluated.
Professional experience (20%): Professional experience related to the job profile.
Languages (5%): Certified level of English.
