We collaborate in the most relevant aerospace & defence programs across more than ten countries, delivering value on a global scale with a onsite presence in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East.Asegúrese de presentar su candidatura con toda la información solicitada, tal como se expone en la descripción del puesto a continuación.We are currently seeking an Electronic Hardware Engineer to take a technical leadership role in the development, verification, and documentation of Hardware components at our headquarters in Madrid, Spain.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, testing, and qualification of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for aerospace applications.Lead the design, development, testing, and qualification of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for aerospace applications. Perform and review analogue and digital circuit design, including detailed assessment of microcontroller-based board designs Define and manage Hardware-Software Interface Specifications (HSIS).Ensure proper component selection aligned with reliability, availability, and manufacturability requirements.Apply Design for Reliability (DfR) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) principles throughout the product lifecycle.Implement and validate EMI/EMC design techniques at board level.Plan, execute, and support environmental and qualification testing.Lead or contribute to certification activities for airborne electronic hardware in compliance with DO-254 (complex electronic hardware) and DO-160G (environmental qualification)Collaborate with software and system teams to ensure compliance with: DO-178 (software) and ARP4754 (system development) Support verification & validation (V&V) activities, including documentation and audits.Interface with certification authorities and support certification reviews.RequirementsExperience with electronic control unit design/testing/qualification in an aerospace environmentStrong background in analogue and digital design, including the ability to asses a microcontroller board designExpertise in worst case analysis (WCCA), Derating analysis, FMEA, Thermal analysis, Power analysis, timing analysis, Lightning analysis/Simulation, Fault tree analysis (FTA), Root cause analysis (RCA), Hardware software interface specification (HSIS).Understanding of component selection criteria, and design for reliability and manufacturabilityFamiliar with Board level EMI/EMC Design techniques and Environmental testingProfound knowledge of RTCA DO-254 and the certification process of complex airborne electronic hardwareEnvironmental qualification (DO-160G), software development (RTCA DO-178), as well as system development (ARP4754) experienceFluent EnglishWhat we offerParticipation in leading international aerospace & defense programs.Performance-based evaluation in different projects.Excellent salary conditions, commensurate with experience.Permanent contract.Highly motivating work environment.Being part of the company’s growth and expansion. xcskxlj Significant opportunities for professional growth due to the company’s rapid expansion.
