Overview
JD Logistics is expanding its core infrastructure in Spain as part of a greenfield deployment. The role focuses on establishing and managing a high‑performance last‑mile delivery network in the Madrid region, starting with a primary delivery depot and expanding to additional stations.
Responsibilities
Launch, stabilize and optimize the first delivery depot in Madrid, ensuring on‑time delivery (OTD) and high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate the development and performance management of two additional last‑mile stations as the regional footprint expands.
Oversee sorting, route allocation, and dispatch processes to achieve target delivery success rates from day one.
Commission new regional stations, onboard leadership teams, and standardize performance across all sites.
Build and manage a reliable network of local delivery providers, independent contractors and couriers, balancing cost‑per‑delivery with stringent service level agreements (SLA).
Monitor and optimize regional delivery metrics—including first‑time delivery rate, customer complaint resolution, and scanning compliance—using advanced data analytics.
Qualifications
Proven experience launching or managing high‑volume delivery stations/depots from scratch within a tier‑1 e‑commerce or express parcel network.
Capability to transition between micro‑level depot operations (driver management, sorting floor issues) and macro‑level regional management (multi‑site KPIs and vendor relationships).
Professional fluency in English and Spanish; Mandarin knowledge is a distinct advantage.
Adaptability to operating hours, early‑morning shifts, and high‑pressure problem solving in real‑time last‑mile delivery.
