Together, we can shape the future.**Job Description:****Your Impact in This Role**As part of the IS Team, The Global Digital Foundations Director is responsible for the global delivery and evolution of Sibelco’s core technology environment, including infrastructure, digital workplace, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, service integration and the application and data platform landscape. The role leads internal teams and strategic partners to deliver these services and ensures reliable, secure, and scalable technological operations across the company’s global footprint. The position also oversees global service performance, vendor delivery and theDigital Foundations budget across operations and projects, ensuring continuous improvement and cost efficiency of the technology landscape. **In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:** * Define and execute the Digital Foundations roadmap aligned with business priorities and the IS strategy, translating business needs into technology capabilities and initiatives.* Lead and develop a global technology team (5 direct reports) and global partners Build capabilities in architecture, cybersecurity, data and digital delivery. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and innovation. ·* SIAM / Global Service Desk: Ensure effective service integration across internal teams and outsourcing partners, maintaining service quality, operational stability and continuous improvement of user support.* Digital Workplace (IT/OT): Deliver a secure and productive digital workplace environment across IT and operational technology, enabling employees and frontline operations with reliable devices and collaboration tools.* Cloud, Connectivity & Infrastructure: Provide a resilient, scalable and secure infrastructure foundation across cloud and network environments, ensuring reliable connectivity between +/-200 sites, global applications and various partners.* Cybersecurity: Strengthen cybersecurity resilience across IT and OT environments and ensure security-by-design in digital platforms and AI initiatives.* Applications & Data Platforms: Own the enterprise integration and data platform landscape (including SAP CPI and SAP Datasphere). Move from experimentation to portfolio-driven AI initiatives with measurable business value* Manage the IT investment portfolio for Digital Foundations with clear value cases and prioritization. Ensure disciplined delivery governance, architecture standards and lifecycle management.* Act as strategic partner to executive leadership and the business as part of the IS Leadership team Translate digital opportunities into proper demand management and project portfolio management* Own the Digital Foundations budget across operations and projects, ensuring financial discipline while driving cost optimization and efficiency improvements across the technology landscape.* Manage strategic technology partners and outsourcing providers, ensuring strong governance, service performance and value delivery. **What you bring to the table:*** Extensive experience leading global technology services and digital foundations in a complex international environment, covering foundations mentioned earlier.* Proven track record managing large-scale service delivery through a mix of internal teams and strategic outsourcing partners, including governance of major vendor and service contracts.* Experience driving technology transformation and major initiatives that improve operational stability while enabling digital capabilities for the business.* Comfortable working with senior leadership and business stakeholders, with experience building strong teams and holding them accountable for service quality, delivery and budget performance.* Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent by experience* 15+ years of experience in Service Delivery and/or Digital Foundations, with a focus on developing and maintaining several product groups that bring value to the business.* Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, CRISC or ISO 27001 are a plus. · Strong technical skills in the above-mentioned areas.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization up to Exco.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business and IT challenges.* Experience managing and mentoring a team.**Employee Type:**PermanentSibelco is more than a workplace—it’s a community that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
