As an in-house software provider, MBGSM (Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid) is developing together with our internal partners digital products for Mercedes-Benz, supporting the manufacturing processes in our plants.In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the infrastructure for projects and giving support to the development team. Ideation and open discussion with the team about project solutions. Be an evangelist for the DevOps culture.The environment in which you will work is international and innovative.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAnalyse requirements with the developers and Business Unit in the project and translate them into technical DevOps solutions.Design, develop and deploy infrastructure solutions, components and CICD.Continuously optimize infrastructure in terms of performance, stability, automation and costs.Identify bottlenecks and take countermeasures.Coordinate implementation of DevOps across the projects.Train the development team on how to use the DevOps solutions, pipelines and infrastructure.Provide support to the development team regarding pipeline and infrastructure, issue handling.Follow company guidelines regarding security and hardening.Follow company strategy in topics like infrastructure, DevOps Toolchain, and security.Additional Information- Full time- Working model:Combination of mobile and on-premise.- Availability for travel (outside COVID): 5-10% of working days per year to Germany.QualificationsSkills and CompetencesITScript languages: Bash, Shell scripting.Knowledge in Infrastructure (firewalls, load balancer, traefik).Monitoring/logging solutions: Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, Opensearch.CICD: Jenkins, SonarQ, GitHub Actions, Terraform.Agile, Scrum.Knowledge in Java.GIT, Jira, Confluence.Security knowledge is a plus.PersonalPersonal responsibility and initiative.Strong moderation and coordination skills.Communication and team skills, open for discussions.Organizational skills.Analytical thinking and quick comprehension.High degree of independence.Mindset of collaboration, problem solving and service.ExperienceDevOps with minimum 3 years experience.EducationBachelor or Master level degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.Languages:English fluently is mandatory.Working knowledge of German is a plus.
