Experteer Overview
You will lead a Data Protection function within a multinational professional services SSC, driving privacy as a business capability. In Barcelona, you mentor a small team and partner with IT, HR, and Marketing to embed GDPR-aligned practices. You translate complex privacy rules into actionable guidance for senior stakeholders and manage external vendor data practices. This newly created role shapes the privacy program and governance culture across Europe, Switzerland, and Turkey.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead and mentor 2–3-person Data Protection team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Conduct DPIAs, TIAs and LIAs for new tools and systems to pre-empt risk
• Translate GDPR requirements for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Review third-party providers to ensure compliant data practices
• Update and optimize privacy frameworks, leveraging automation where possible
Responsabilidades
• 5–6+ years of Data Protection experience (GDPR specialist)
• 2–3 years of people leadership experience
• Based in Spain with strong European Law (GDPR) background
• Fluency in English
