About The Role

You will be involved in topics that are very important and relevant, as our expanding cloud configuration is highly prioritized within the organization.
As an Data Platform & DevOps Architect, you will be a key contributor to our shared mission of turning data into value. Together with the team, you will co-own and evolve the KONGSBERG data platform.
You will work closely with the Data Office and product teams across the company, helping to build and improve a Snowflake and Azure-based platform that supports both internal needs and customer-facing solutions.
Your work will span from designing scalable architectures to building efficient data pipelines using tools like DBT—always with a focus on creating something that truly makes a difference.

Responsibilities
Enable data engineering teams by delivering a scalable, reliable, and high-performing platform
Automate data extraction and transformation to drive efficiency and faster insights
Build, develop, and deploy data platform infrastructure as code using Python, SQL, and Bicep
Ensure quality and continuous improvement through troubleshooting and code reviews
Support and empower users by providing training and hands‑on guidance
Qualifications And Qualities
A degree in IT or equivalent hands‑on experience
Experience working with modern data and cloud technologies (full or partial stack)
Strong programming foundation, including:
Python
SQL
PowerShell
C#
Django
Innovative and forward‑thinking mindset
Structured, with a strong focus on governance and best practices
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
Quality‑driven, with attention to detail and continuous improvement
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, demanding, and international environment
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
