Experteer Overview In this role you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines to support Flywire's data needs, collaborating with analytics and data science teams in a cloud-based environment. You will optimize data workflows, build transformation jobs, and work with real-time data streams to improve data quality and reliability. You will contribute to our cloud data warehouse and help set engineering standards, delivering impactful data solutions across the business. A strong focus on learning new technologies and collaborating across functions will be essential.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Optimize existing data workflows for performance and resource efficiency
- Write, test, and deploy data transformation jobs using dbt
- Work with streaming data frameworks to process real-time data
- Support development and maintenance of data models in BigQuery
- Collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, analytics engineers, and other data engineers
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and infrastructure
- Learn and apply new data engineering technologies and techniquesResponsabilidades
- Proficiency in at least one programming language used in data engineering (Python, Java, or Scala)
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery or Snowflake)
- SQL experience with relational databases
- Experience with data streaming frameworks (Apache Beam, Flink)
- Experience with streaming infrastructure (Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow (GCP Composer)
- Experience with dbt for data transformation
- Experience with Docker for containerisation
- Understanding of data governance principles
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldRequisitos principales
