About the RoleWe are building the next generation offrontier generative AI modelsto accelerate discovery and innovation in mathematics, computational modeling, and related scientific domains. Our mission is to combine deep mathematical expertise with cutting-edge AI to create transformative tools for researchers and innovators worldwide. Role OverviewWe are seekingPhD-level mathematiciansto join ourdata annotation and model-training team. In this role, you will use your advanced mathematics knowledge tocurate, annotate, and validate datasetsthat power generative AI models. Your expertise will ensure models not only understand mathematical concepts at a fundamental level but also generate outputs that are precise, accurate, and logically consistent. This position is ideal for scientists who are excited aboutbridging domain expertise with frontier AI development, and who want to directly shape how AI learns and applies mathematical knowledge. ResponsibilitiesAnnotate, label, and structure complex mathematics datasets (e.G., equations, proofs, theorems, numerical simulations, datasets from applied math problems) for training generative AI models. Review, validate, and correct AI-generated outputs to ensuremathematical accuracy and domain fidelity. Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to translate mathematical concepts into annotation guidelines and workflows. Develop benchmarks and validation processes for mathematics-related AI outputs. Provide expert feedback to improve AI performance in areas such asalgebra, analysis, combinatorics, topology, number theory, applied mathematics, or statistics. QualificationsPhD inMathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline. Strong command ofcore mathematical principlesin one or more subfields. Experience with computational and mathematical tools relevant to your domain (e.G., MATLAB, Python, Mathematica, R, SageMath). Ability to critically evaluate datasets and AI outputs with precision. Strong communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration. Must be based in Europe and have access to a personal laptopsuitable for annotation tasks. Nice-to-HaveFamiliarity withmachine learning or generative AI concepts. Prior experience withdata annotation, curation, or knowledge management.
