NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Access to finance for selected European Electricity System Operators (E-TSOs) and is searching for experts to implement this project. The objective of this assignment is for the consultants to analyse, assess and compare the legal and regulatory environments of each ETSO in Italy, Spain and France, respectively, and each country’s application of the RAB methodology to their monopoly ETSO. In terms of its overall objective, the assignment aims to propose a supplemental RAB-based approach to the setting of credit risk limits for these ETSOs. Location : Home-based Duration : The intended start date is January 2026 and the services shall be provided for a period of 3.5 months from this date. Key Expert 2: Credit Risk/Rating Expert - Category II Qualifications: At least a bachelor’s degree (or an academic equivalent) economics, finance, engineering, natural sciences, business administration, law, political science or an equivalent field (minimum requirement). A master’s degree or a higher qualification will constitute an advantage. General professional experience: At least 10 years of general professional experience in credit rating advisory, consultancy, banking, utility regulation or an equivalent field (minimum requirement). Specific professional experience: The expert must have at least 5 years experience in assessing and monitoring creditworthiness of utility sector entities (e.g., electricity, gas, water, renewables, nuclear, etc.) (minimum requirement). Specific experience of the credit rating process as applied to European ETSOs will constitute an asset. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English. (CEFR C1 minimum requirement).
