About the project UPSTREAM will develop an innovative sediment tracing system in the Ebro River Basin combining geochemical fingerprinting (ICP-OES), real-time sensors (UV-Vis, gamma detectors), and novel tracers (eDNA, CSSI). The candidate will enroll in the PhD Program in Geology (Univ. Zaragoza) and receive training in sampling, lab work, modeling (R/Python), and international stays (Ghent, Plymouth, LIST). Requisitos - MSc in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Forestry Engineering, Geography, or related. - Interest in hydrology, erosion and water quality. - Willingness for fieldwork and lab work. - Fluency in Spanish and English. GIS, programming or geochemistry skills are a plus.
