Senior Analyst, PPA & Renewable Power The Role Flexidao continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio management and analytics services. We are looking for a Senior Analyst, PPA & Renewable Power to help transform renewable energy, market and contract data into meaningful intelligence. This role sits at the intersection of renewable energy markets, data analytics and product innovation. You will work with data spanning renewable energy contracts, generation assets, market prices, settlements and portfolio performance across some of the world's largest clean energy portfolios. By combining domain expertise, quantitative analysis and technology, you will develop new insights, methodologies and services that help clients better understand renewable energy performance and risk while contributing to the evolution of Flexidao's product offering. We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep curiosity for uncovering patterns, identifying opportunities and translating data into practical business value. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Insights & Ongoing Service Delivery Portfolio Intelligence: Deliver ongoing analytical support by analyzing large datasets related to generation, market prices, and settlement outcomes across clients' clean energy portfolios. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the financial and operational performance of complex renewable energy procurement structures, including PPAs and VPPAs. Risk & Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and specific portfolio risks (e.g., basis risk, volume risk) to provide actionable advice to clients. Client Reporting: Develop, maintain, and present clear KPIs, benchmarks, dashboards, and performance reports that communicate complex data into practical business value. 2. Methodology & Forecasting Model Development Advanced Modeling: Build and refine accurate quantitative models for capture price forecasting, basis risk, generation performance, and revenue attribution. Scalable Frameworks: Design repeatable analytical methodologies that can be applied consistently across different geographies, clients, and contract structures. Continuous Improvement: Enhance the accuracy, quality, and consistency of Flexidao's renewable energy forecasting and risk analysis services. Service Creation: Develop new analytical services and best practices that address emerging market dynamics and evolving client needs. 3. Product Innovation & Automation Workflow Automation: Identify recurring analytical workflows and manual data processes that can be automated and scaled. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex analytical methodologies into scalable software capabilities within the Flexidao platform. Roadmap Contribution: Help shape the product roadmap by defining new data products, analytics features, and portfolio intelligence tools. AI Integration: Define how Flexidao can leverage modern data pipelines, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate research and deliver greater value to clients. What We're Looking For Required 4+ years of experience in energy analytics, power markets, renewable energy, data science, quantitative analysis or related fields. Strong understanding of renewable energy markets and renewable energy procurement structures such as PPAs and VPPAs. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong Python and data analysis capabilities. Experience working with large datasets and building analytical models. Experience using SQL and modern data analytics tools. Comfortable leveraging AI tools and modern analytical workflows to improve productivity, accelerate research and enhance data analysis. Ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner. Strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for turning data into actionable insights. Fluent English. Preferred Experience with renewable energy production data, settlement data or electricity market data. Experience with forecasting, optimization or quantitative modelling. Experience with capture prices, basis risk, settlement analysis and renewable revenue optimization. Experience developing internal analytical tools, products or methodologies. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments and modern data architectures. Experience working in a fast-growing SaaS, technology or data-driven environment.
