Client Tax Services Expert LeadAt ING we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Expert Lead to join our Client Tax Services Team within Financial Crime Prevention. The role ensures end‑to‑end tax compliance for clients, especially in the Brokerage and investment products domain.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the Client Tax Services (CTS) function in Spain, aligned with the Group model and fully integrated within KYC, ensuring ownership from onboarding to filing and in‑life management.Design and implement a scalable operating model for client tax services, focusing on accurate capture, maintenance and use of client tax data.Act as the single coordination point for client taxation, connecting business, KYC, technology and corporate functions.Lead the full tax reporting lifecycle: maintain the reporting catalogue, design and document processes, collect, validate and consolidate data, submit filings to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) and manage incidents.Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including CRS, FATCA, WHT, Double Tax Relief and other investment‑client taxes.Establish and maintain a robust Tax Control Framework, including internal controls, reporting, segregation of duties and audit traceability.Lead risk management through KPIs, monitoring quality, timelines, operational incidents and defect rates.Drive technology and data integration, working with internal systems, tax engines and external providers to ensure efficiency and data quality.Lead audits and regulatory interactions, ensuring complete, accurate and traceable evidence.Act as a strategic advisor to the business, anticipating regulatory impacts on new products, client segments and the evolution of Brokerage.Drive transformation and continuous improvement, including digitalisation initiatives and the use of AI in tax processes.Qualifications5–8 years of experience in banking taxation focused on investment clients/Brokerage and tax reporting.Proven experience leading teams or building functions from scratch, with strong end‑to‑end ownership.Hands‑on experience with AEAT tax models and related processes.Strong knowledge of international taxation, including WHT, Double Tax Relief, CRS/FATCA, FTT, and Stamp Duty.Experience in regulated environments, interacting with auditors, regulators and external advisors.Strong data and technology capabilities, including BI tools, tax engines and system integrations.Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data quality.Transformation mindset, including the ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.Commitment to the Orange code: Ownership and delivery, cross‑functional collaboration and proactivity with regulatory changes.Languages: native Spanish and advanced English.BenefitsFlexible work model with choice of home and office days.Health and life insurance for you and your family.Flexible remuneration model with tax‑advantaged services.Company shuttle service with multiple routes to Madrid.Banking benefits: special loans, mortgage conditions after 6 months and pension plan from month 1.Employee wellbeing initiatives: onsite physiotherapy, gym services and a 360º employee care program.Employee networks supporting diversity and inclusion.
