Two main types of activities are offered in this position:
1. Client Solutions and Operations
Reporting to Customer, you will be involved in managing real-time big data tests remotely. These tests will be carried out by the customer in various European locations (Austria, Spain, Norway, Finland). From this position you will be in charge of the execution of projects and act as interface between the client and the organization to ensure delivery of the client’s technical requirements. This role will be based in Spain, with occasional travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities include:
Study client test requirements and procedures.
Schedule vehicle data logger installation and provide technical support.
Generate project structure in the organization’s tools.
Coordinate test set-up (drivers, instrumentation, etc.) to conduct tests and ensure timely reporting.
Plan and conduct testing activities in accordance with test procedures.
Maintain continuous contact with clients during the project to understand their needs and anticipate future actions, ensuring final requirements are met.
2. Brake Emissions Test Engineering
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support projects related to measuring particles from non-exhaust sources, mainly brakes. Activities include conducting various testing activities in the field of particle emissions from vehicle brakes, supporting German customers.
Responsibilities:
Support a Project Manager with non-exhaust particle measurement projects.
Plan and organize testing projects.
Project management.
Prepare quotations for customers.
Validate results and report on projects.
Give presentations (commercial and project) to customers, particularly German customers.
Follow up and control projects.
Revise technical requirements.
Organize technicians and mechanic activities in facilities.
Education:
Engineer in Mechanic, Electronics, or similar field.
Profile:
Experience in the automotive industry.
Ability to understand and implement test procedures and specifications.
Knowledge of data acquisition system operation.
Knowledge of big data is valuable.
Teamworking, team management, and communication skills.
Ability to hold fluent and fruitful technical communication with clients.
Previous experience in project management is valuable.
Availability for worldwide travel.
Previous experience in particle testing measurements (exhaust or non-exhaust) is valuable.
Self-motivated.
Knowledge of instrumentation equipment, especially related to particle measurements.
Language:
Fluent in English and German.
